The Foundational Heart: The Somatic Sanctuary Fund

I believe that therapeutic touch is a necessity, not just a luxury—especially for those carrying the heaviest physical and emotional loads in our community.

That is why this practice operates on a model of reciprocal healing. For every ten paid sessions booked by our clients, I fully fund and dedicate a 60-minute therapeutic session to someone in profound need. Through local partners, these slots are gifted directly to local domestic birthmothers, adults in transition at shelters, and our dedicated community hospice workers.

When you choose to invest in your wellness here, you are directly extending that sanctuary to another.

How it works: Our 10-to-1 giving model is completely automated. Every time you book a service, you directly fund a percentage of a Sanctuary Session. To protect the privacy, safety, and specialized care of our recipients, all Sanctuary Sessions are coordinated directly through our official local community partners.

Born from Experience. Dedicated to Community.

At Healing Frequency Bodywork, the commitment to giving back isn't a corporate marketing strategy or a modern business trends model. It is the very reason this practice exists.

My path to becoming a massage therapist was paved by my own life's thresholds. The Somatic Sanctuary Fund was born directly from the moments in my life where I required a safe space, a soft landing, or an extended hand—and found one.

We proudly dedicate these sessions to three specific pillars, because I know exactly what it feels like to stand where they are standing:

Domestic Birthmothers

Having personally walked the deeply tender, emotionally complex path of placing a child for adoption, I know firsthand the profound somatic and emotional weight a birthmother’s body carries. This fund is my way of wrapping these women in absolute safety, honor, and physical comfort during a major life transition.

Adults in Transition at Local Shelters

I know what it means to experience the uncertainty and survival mode of homelessness. When you are fighting for a stable foundation, your body hoards stress just to keep you moving. I partner with local shelters to provide a quiet hour where these resilient people can lower their guard, feel deeply respected, and safely drop back into their physical forms.

Our Dedicated Community Hospice Workers & Volunteers

When my father-in-law and my aunt were navigating their final transitions in hospice care, it was the selfless, quiet grace of the hospice team that carried our family through the dark. This branch of the fund is an act of deep gratitude—offering a space of physical restoration for the caregivers who hold space for our community's grief.

Are you a community leader who would like to partner with me? I’d love to hear from you!
